College Activities
The college imparts the education in Ayurveda at UG level for Ayurvedacharya (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) course. Ayurvedacharya (B.A.M.S.) is of 4 years and 6 months course followed by 12 months rotatory internship. From session 2021-22, the course is divided into 3 equal professionals of 18 months each. Admission is based on merit by counseling for NEET qualified students.
Academic Activities
Department of Samhita, Siddhant and Sanskrit
The Department of Samhita, Siddhant and Sanskrit has a Departmental Library with more than 100 reference books, Museum with more than 100 species and sitting facility for the teaching. The department also has infrastructure for a Language Lab of Sanskrit and the demand has been sent for the instruments and equipments as well as additional staff as per MSR of NCISM, New Delhi.
Department of Rachana Sharir
The Department of Rachana Sharir (Anatomy) includes a well maintained and equipped Dissection Hall, Museum with specimens, sectioned specimens, bone sets and models etc and sitting facility for the teaching as per MSR of NCISM, New Delhi.
Department of Kriya Sharir
The Department of Kriya Sharir (Physiology) has a well-equipped Departmental Laboratory.
Department of Dravyguna
The Department of Dravyguna is having a Herbarium and Crude Drug Museum, where more than 200 specimens are arranged in a specific manner. A Well-equipped Pharmacognosy Lab is established in the department.
Department of Agad Tantra
The Museum of Agad Tantra department has animals & plant based poisonous specimens, tools and objects.
Department of Rasashastra & Bhaisajya Kalapna
In the department of Rasashastra and Bhaisajya Kalapna, a Raw Drug Museum for minerals and metals is separately established. A Well-equipped Teaching Pharmacy is established in the department.
Department of Roga Nidana
A Well-equipped Teaching Pharmacy is established in the department.
Other Departments
All other departments are well furnished with their concerned models, charts and specimens etc. according to MSR of NCISM, New Delhi.
Library
Institute has its own central library. Library has good collection (approx 12000) of books of Ayurveda as well as Modern Medicine and scientific journals along with Digital Library. The books are classified into the category of General/Text books and Reference Books. Separate seating arrangement is made for teaching staff and students in the reading area of the library.
Other Activities
Every month, the college organise the Departmental Seminars. Time to time, the college also organize state/national/international level seminars. The college spread awareness about the health and health hazards among the population through Gram Sabhas, Symposium and Nukkad Nataks.
Extra-Curricular Activities
To refresh the mind and body of the students and faculty, the college has a well-equipped Gym and Sports facilities. The college organize time to time sports and cultural events along with different variety of competitions.
